Shuaib gained a Bachelor of Science degree with honours from the University of Southampton before completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Peninsula Dental School in 2014 where he was awarded the National Composite Restorative Prize for his operative skills.
Following graduation, Shuaib worked in General Dental Practice in Stirling before working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Glasgow’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He has also worked in Oral Surgery at Glasgow Dental Hospital where he gained further surgical skills and has supported the Emergency Dental Service at Forth Valley Community Hospital. During this period, Shuaib gained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians Glasgow.
Shuaib has a calming nature, and through his experience in Special Care Dentistry he has further developed his techniques in treating anxious patients. Shuaib likes to build trusting relationships with his patients whilst looking after their dental health using modern techniques to restore teeth conservatively and aesthetically. He is truly passionate about providing the best personalised care for his patients and ensuring they have a positive encounter every time.
Shuaib is currently completing his Masters in Prosthodontics after being accepted onto the highly competitive Prosthodontic specialist training programme at the world-renowned King's College London, ranked number one Dental School in the UK. Here he focuses on restoring damaged or worn teeth and their replacement with implants, bridges, and dentures.
In his spare time, Shuaib enjoys spending time with his wife and three energetic boys exploring Scotland. His other interests include modern classic cars and hiking.
