Beth Burns completed her Masters of Science in 2010. Beth is a Specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics, Periodontics and Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics, entering the 4 specialist lists, after completion of specialist training and FDS (Rest Dent) from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Glasgow in 2015. Beth has been Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and Lead for development of the Adult Dental Trauma Service in Greater Glasgow and Clyde since October 2016. She became Clinical Lead in 2019. She is also Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Glasgow Dental Hospital and School teaching Undergraduate Dental and Post Graduate Endodontics Masters Degree students.
Beth’s practice has been mainly limited to specialist Endodontics and implant based prosthodontic rehabilitation in the past few years. Her new patient clinics are currently focused on Specialist Endodontics including complex root canal anatomy, separated instruments, root resorption, management of open apices and immature root form. She lectures and teaches widely Nationally and Internationally in the fields of Dental Trauma, Endodontics and Implantology. She has also authored a number scientific journal articles in these fields. She is a board member of Dental Trauma UK, Member of British Endodontic Society, Consultant and Specialist Group RDUK, and International Team for Implantology.
Beth strives to provide specialist level, patient centered care to the highest professional standards. Beth is now receiving referrals for both surgical and non-surgical Endodontics.
